Why We Do What We Do

We believe that students can be inspired and guided to think, analyze, and understand how to apply their learning to real-world situations.

The TEAL experience contributes to this process. We provide an environment where each student is encouraged to attain their highest potential. Our passion is to develop skills that will help our students become informed, positive contributors to society.

Our Approach

We deliver our services through five strategic steps:

Consultation
The goal of our free consultation is to have a complete understanding of your child’s academic needs so that we can provide the guidance that you need to make the right decision for your child. Your child can usually start within a week of consulting with us.

Evaluation
We evaluate the student’s needs to determine the tutoring package for them. The evaluation process may vary across the following areas:
  • Conducting a thorough reading assessment.
  • Administration of practice examinations and reviewing recently completed tests.
  • Administration of grade-level skills tests.
  • Reviewing recent school reports.

Recommendation
Once we have completed our review process, we curate a study plan that specifically targets the student’s needs and personal goals. This is done with careful thought of the student’s ongoing interests and commitments.

Review
Learning is a dynamic activity. As such, as the tutoring sessions progress, we review the study plan to incorporate necessary changes and fine-tune the process. Our tutors and directors regularly review the student’s study plan, keeping them and their parents informed and involved every step of the way.
